Over the two years in Melbourne Luke treated a variety of injuries in-clinic and on the sporting field and was lucky enough to be apart of the Victorian Rugby League Representative programs as a Team Physiotherapist and trainer. This then led Luke to be invited to attend the Australian Schoolboys Championship with the Combined Affiliated State Team.
This has given Luke a great opportunity to work with a variety of individuals to create a suitable treatment plan to get the best long-lasting results. Our Story
Broadbeach Physiotherapy Centre first opened its doors in 1981, and has been providing quality physio to the Broadbeach community ever since. Directors, Daniel Turner and Ceridwen Way took over the practice back in 2008 and have steadily grown the practice. In that time, it has moved premises from The Oasis Shopping Centre to our new custom-designed premises on the Gold Coast Highway, opposite Pacific Fair and the light rail stop. Our modern facilities include a gym and Pilates studio, and there is ample free parking on-site.
Our Gold Coast physio and allied health practice at Broadbeach is committed to provide our clients with the best care and as a result we are dedicated to attracting and retaining highly trained and experienced staff. We also see the benefit of creating an optimal balance of experienced staff sharing with more recent graduates who bring new ideas and innovation.
Director Daniel Turner graduated in 1992, and Luke Skillington graduated in 2015. Our Remedial massage therapist, Leanne, has been working in the field since 2005.
Daniel, Luke and Sandy are members of the Australian Physiotherapy Association (APA). The APA is the peak body representing the physiotherapy profession in Australia. The APA is committed to the concept of continuing professional education and requires all members to document evidence of undertaking 20 hours of professional development. The APA signifies compliance with a standard of professional and ethical behaviour above and beyond the requirements of registration.
